Project 4 - Acrylic and Thread

In the prompt for this piece, we talked a lot about seeing the thread as skin and the acrylic as bone. I took this in a more literal sense and decided to make a whole head. I used the slotting method to hold all the pieces together and used thread on the inside and around the outside. I wanted to make it look as if you could see through the outer layer of skin to the nerves underneath it. The clear material also helped achieve this goal of see-through skin.
